Wedding Celebrations

For a large celebration, we offer the Sanctuary, an elegant historic venue to host your personalized wedding featuring vaulted ceilings, original chandelier lighting, hand carved wainscoting woodwork, comfortable, padded pew seating with superb site lines for 325 guests, and large Tiffany/La Forge style stained-glass windows surrounding the room. Excellent acoustics, color wash wall lighting, brass candelabras, reserve seating for special guests, adjacent Banquet Hall, large catering Kitchen, ramped guest entrance, and a dedicated parking lot across the street are among the many benefits provided. Advanced sound options and video recording are available to add to your package upon request. Due to our concert quality acoustics and an on-site Steinway piano, we highly recommend live music to enhance your wedding and reception.

Event Coordinator

Bridal Ready Room

Adjacent to the Sanctuary is a venue every bride, bridesmaid, and Mother are welcome to enjoy! Our Wedding Venue Package includes this room featuring an elegant 3-light make up vanity mirror, vintage dresser with full-length mirror, and large private restroom… the perfect place for your bridal party to prepare for your special day.

Banquet Hall

The large Banquet Hall would be an elegant setting for your custom Rehearsal Dinner the night prior. After your wedding ceremony, the adjoining Banquet Hall with round and rectangular tables will seat up to 150 guests for a delicious catered reception or select a more casual hors d’oeuvres social gathering arrangement. Adjacent to the Banquet Hall is a large kitchen with an outside door to a circle drive parking area for your caterer. For larger groups, overflow tables with seating overlooking the Banquet Hall are available in the upstairs Conference Room.

Chapel

For a more intimate wedding, we offer the Memorial Chapel featuring beautiful stained-glass panels and hand carved woodwork for 65 guests. Added features are the original church cornerstone, a dedicated thermostat, and an outside door off of 7th street and Macon Avenue for street access with available parking. Our dedicated parking lot across the street is also available for parking.

Banquet Hall Reception, ready to celebrate!

This is your special day so make the most of it! After an exquisite wedding ceremony in the Sanctuary or Memorial Chapel, the Bride & Groom can celebrate in style at a reception for family and friends. We have a variety of seating arrangements to enhance your wishes. Our experienced, friendly staff will ensure your event is picture perfect!
Historic Charm

Built as a Presbyterian church dedicated in January 1902, attention to detail in vaulted ceilings, large Tiffany/LaForge style stained-glass windows, original chandeliers, hand carved woodwork, and original sandstone block exterior ensures your wedding is full of charm and peaceful serenity. When you schedule an appointment with our experienced Event Coordinator Cherree Johnson, she will begin by providing a tour of the Sanctuary, Bridal Ready Room, Banquet Hall, Kitchen, and Memorial Chapel to illustrate how adjoining rooms flow together seamlessly.

Memorial Chapel for Intimate Ceremonies

Our Memorial Chapel is the perfect venue for smaller ceremonies in a private area of the building. Historic appointments include: an alter with brass candlesticks and a circular stain glass dove window directly above, beautiful custom woodwork, and rows of stained-glass panels along both sides of the room. A piano and direct parking access are added benefits. The original building cornerstone rests within one Chapel wall. The Banquet Hall and Kitchen are available for a catered reception to end your special day.
